MK-677, or ibutamoren, is a growth hormone secretagogue — an orally active agonist at the ghrelin receptor. It does not supply growth hormone; it signals the pituitary to release more of your own. It has a real published human literature, which is unusual in this category, and it was never approved for any indication.
The molecule is the same whoever sells it. So on our MK-677 page you will see several brands at prices that differ by more than double. Here is what is actually behind that.
1. Dose per capsule — the biggest single factor
This is where most of the price difference lives, and it is not a quality difference at all. A 25mg capsule contains two and a half times the compound of a 10mg capsule. Compare on cost per milligram, not on the price tag, and most of the apparent spread disappears.
2. Dose accuracy — worth paying for
Encapsulating a powder at a consistent dose is a manufacturing problem, not a chemistry one. A brand running proper blending and fill-weight checks costs more to produce than one weighing by eye. You cannot see this from the outside, which is exactly why the next point matters.
3. Batch testing — the only thing you can verify
A certificate of analysis for the specific batch you are buying is the only evidence available to you as a buyer. Not a generic PDF for the product line — the one whose batch number matches the box.

Decide first which brands you are willing to trust, using batch testing as the filter. Then, among those, compare cost per milligram and pick. Doing it in the other order — cheapest first, questions later — is how people end up with a bottle they cannot verify.
Increased appetite, water retention and reduced insulin sensitivity are the effects reported most consistently with ibutamoren, regardless of who made it. It is on WADA’s prohibited list and will fail a sport drugs test.
