What this collection covers
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. The ones here range from synthetic fragments of human proteins to engineered hormone analogues. Each has its own page with the published research, the brands we hold and how to compare them.

- TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4), a synthetic form of a 43-amino-acid protein present in most human cells, studied mainly in animal wound models.
- Ipamorelin, a pentapeptide growth hormone secretagogue that acts at the ghrelin receptor, which reached early clinical study and was not developed further.
- IGF-1 LR3, a long-arginine-3 analogue of insulin-like growth factor 1 used in cell culture research.
- Retatrutide (LY3437943), a GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptor triple agonist currently in late-stage clinical trials and not approved anywhere.

A note on capsule peptides
Peptides are usually studied by injection because the gut breaks proteins down. The capsule format here is a matter of handling convenience for laboratory work, not a claim of oral activity. Our article Do Oral Peptides Actually Work? sets out what the literature does and does not show.
What the published research reports
The evidence base varies widely by compound. Retatrutide has the strongest human data: in a 48-week phase 2 trial of 338 adults with obesity, mean weight change ranged from about 8 to 24 per cent depending on dose, against about 2 per cent on placebo, with gastrointestinal adverse events the most common finding and dose-related. BPC-157, by contrast, is supported almost entirely by rodent studies from a single research group, reviewed in 2018, with no controlled human trials published. None of this is a claim about the products on this page.
Batch testing and certificates of analysis
A certificate of analysis states what an independent laboratory identified in a specific batch and the purity it measured. Every Free Muscle batch goes to Janoshik Analytical, and the batch number is printed on the pack. Email us that number and we will send the certificate. Legal status in the UK
None of these peptides is a licensed medicine in the UK or an authorised food supplement. They are sold to adults for laboratory research and are not for human consumption. Under the WADA list, growth hormone secretagogues, IGF-1 analogues and thymosin beta-4 are prohibited at all times, and non-approved substances such as BPC-157 and retatrutide fall under the S0 category.

Frequently asked questions
Are research peptides legal in the UK?
Buying and possessing these peptides is not an offence in the UK, but none is a licensed medicine or an authorised food supplement, so they cannot be sold for human consumption. Free Muscle supplies them to adults for laboratory research only. Retatrutide is an investigational drug still in trials, and it has no approval anywhere. Check local rules before ordering for delivery outside the UK.
What is the difference between BPC-150 and BPC-157?
BPC-157 is the pentadecapeptide studied in the published rodent literature, and we list other brands' BPC-157 capsules through Muscle Market. BPC-150 is Free Muscle's own-label listing, supplied as 1000 mg capsules and batch-tested by Janoshik Analytical. The BPC-150 collection page describes the listing and its certificate. We make no claim that either behaves like the other in any research setting.
Do peptides in capsule form survive digestion?
Most peptides are broken down by digestive enzymes, which is why clinical research on them almost always uses injection. Capsules are a handling format for laboratory work rather than evidence of oral activity. Our article on oral peptides explains the few exceptions in the literature and where the evidence stops. Nothing we sell is intended to be swallowed by a person.
How do I verify a batch?
Each Free Muscle pack carries a printed batch number. Email it to us and we will send the Janoshik Analytical certificate for that batch, showing the compound identified and its measured purity. Match the batch number on the certificate to your pack. For other brands, we display a certificate only where the manufacturer has supplied one for the batch we actually hold.
Are these peptides banned in sport?
Yes. WADA prohibits peptide hormones, growth factors and related substances at all times, which covers ipamorelin, IGF-1 LR3 and thymosin beta-4. Compounds with no medical approval, such as BPC-157 and retatrutide, are prohibited under the non-approved substances category. Tested athletes should treat every item in this collection as prohibited.
