CUT
Cut research grouping UK: Cardarine GW-501516, YK-11, MK-677, Ipamorelin and Enclomiphene. Every batch assayed by Janoshik. Research use only, 18+.
Cut is a research-interest grouping of Free Muscle compounds that feature in the literature on endurance, fat metabolism and body composition: Cardarine (GW-501516), YK-11, MK-677 (Ibutamoren), Ipamorelin and Enclomiphene. Every product is supplied as capsules for laboratory research, every Free Muscle batch is assayed by Janoshik Analytical, and the certificate for your batch is available on request. The heading is a way of organising the catalogue. It is not a claim that any compound here changes the body composition of the person reading this page.
What this collection covers
- Cardarine (GW-501516), a PPAR-delta agonist studied in the 2000s for lipid disorders. Development stopped after rodent studies reported tumours in several organs. 10 mg capsules, 60 per pack, in this grouping.
- YK-11, a steroidal compound reported in cell studies to act as a partial androgen receptor agonist with effects on myostatin-related signalling; no human trials. 10 mg capsules, 60 per pack.
- MK-677 (Ibutamoren), a growth hormone secretagogue with human trial data; the 10 mg strength sits in this grouping, with 12.5 mg and 25 mg on the compound page.
- Ipamorelin, a pentapeptide ghrelin receptor agonist that reached early clinical study and was not developed further; 60 capsules.
- Enclomiphene, the trans-isomer of clomiphene, a selective oestrogen receptor modulator studied in men with secondary hypogonadism and never approved; 25 mg capsules, 60 per pack.
How to compare listings
Multiply milligrams per capsule by capsules per pack to get total milligrams, compare price per milligram, and check the batch certificate. Our price per milligram article shows the working.
What the published research reports
The compounds here have very different evidence bases. MK-677 has controlled human trials in which fat-free mass rose modestly while fasting glucose, appetite and fluid retention also increased. Cardarine has early human lipid studies and a long-term rodent safety programme that ended its development. Enclomiphene has trials in men with secondary hypogonadism in which testosterone rose while sperm counts were maintained, though the FDA declined to approve it in 2015. YK-11 and ipamorelin have little or no published human data. None of this is a claim about the products on this page.
Batch testing and certificates of analysis
A certificate of analysis states what an independent laboratory found in a specific batch: the compound identified and the purity measured. Every Free Muscle batch goes to Janoshik Analytical, and the batch number is printed on the pack. Email us the number and we will send the certificate. A generic document without a batch number is not a batch certificate. See how we test.
Legal status in the UK
None of these compounds is a licensed medicine (MHRA) or an authorised food supplement. They are sold to adults for laboratory research and are not for human consumption. Under the WADA list, GW-501516 is a prohibited metabolic modulator, YK-11 falls under anabolic agents, MK-677 and ipamorelin under growth hormone secretagogues, and enclomiphene under hormone and metabolic modulators. Read our SARMs research guide for more.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Cut category?
It is a grouping of research compounds that appear in the scientific literature on endurance, fat metabolism and body composition, collected under one heading so researchers can find them quickly. It is not a claim that any product produces a leaner physique in a person. Everything in it is sold to adults for laboratory research only and is not for human consumption.
Is Cardarine legal in the UK?
Cardarine (GW-501516) is not a controlled substance in the UK, so buying and holding it is not an offence, but it is not a licensed medicine or an authorised food supplement and cannot be sold for human consumption. Its pharmaceutical development was abandoned after rodent carcinogenicity findings. It is prohibited in sport under the WADA list.
Why is Enclomiphene in this grouping?
Enclomiphene is a selective oestrogen receptor modulator, not a metabolic compound. It is grouped here because it is studied alongside androgen-active compounds and commonly appears in the same research programmes. It was studied in men with secondary hypogonadism and regulators declined to approve it. It is sold here for laboratory research only.
What strength of MK-677 is in this category?
The 10 mg capsule strength appears in this grouping; the 12.5 mg and 25 mg strengths are on the MK-677 compound page. We do not advise on which strength to choose because the compound is sold for laboratory research, not for use in people. Compare total milligrams per pack and request the batch certificate if you are choosing between listings.
Are these compounds detectable in drug tests?
Yes. GW-501516, YK-11, MK-677, ipamorelin and enclomiphene are all prohibited under the WADA list, and accredited laboratories test for each of them and their metabolites. Detection windows vary and can be long. Anyone subject to sports testing should treat the whole collection as prohibited.
