BPC-150 is the product designation Free Muscle uses for its own research peptide in the body-protection-compound family. It is sold as a variant of BPC-157, the fifteen-amino-acid gastric pentadecapeptide described in the scientific literature, but it is not that literature peptide and we do not attribute BPC-157 research to it. This page explains plainly what BPC-150 is and is not, sets out what the published research on the related literature peptide does and does not show, and lists every BPC-150 product we stock with its pack size, form and batch testing.
What is BPC-150?
BPC-150 is a Free Muscle-brand name. It belongs to the same broad family as BPC-157, in that both are marketed as body protection compounds, but the designation is ours and it should not be confused with the literature peptide. There is no published research on a compound called BPC-150: no receptor studies, no animal models and no human trials. Any claim you see elsewhere that transfers BPC-157 results to BPC-150 is not supported by the data, and we do not make it.
What can be said with confidence is what BPC-150 is not. It is not a licensed medicine anywhere, it is not an authorised food supplement, and it is not authorised as a medicine by the MHRA, EMA or FDA. It is supplied in capsule form for laboratory research by adults aged 18 and over. Because the World Anti-Doping Agency prohibits non-approved substances as a class (S0), it should be treated as prohibited in sport.
What the published research reports
The research below concerns BPC-157, the literature peptide, and is included only so that readers understand the state of evidence for the family. None of it was carried out on BPC-150.
Most BPC-157 studies were done in rodents or cells, many of them by a single Zagreb research network; examples are rat tendon studies from Zagreb and from a group in Taiwan, and the Zagreb group's review of gut, brain and vascular models (Staresinic 2003; Chang 2011; Sikiric 2016).
A 2025 systematic review of the orthopaedic literature to June 2024 included 36 studies, 35 preclinical and one clinical, all level IV or V evidence, and found no clinical safety data (Vasireddi 2025). A 2026 review counted fewer than 30 people across three uncontrolled human pilots and no completed phase II trial (Mateescu 2026).
For the individual studies, see the BPC-157 collection and our article on what the BPC-157 research shows. There is no study of BPC-150 at all, and nothing here is a claim about any product on this page.

Brands of BPC-150 we stock
- Free Muscle BPC-150, 60 capsules. Free Muscle brand, capsule form, 60 capsules per pack. The product page gives the labelled strength as 1000mg. Every Free Muscle batch is assayed by Janoshik Analytical and the certificate of analysis for the batch you hold is sent on request.
BPC-150 is a Free Muscle designation, so no other manufacturer sells a product under this name. If you are looking for the literature peptide from other brands, see the BPC-157 collection.
How to compare them
The usual method applies: strength per capsule multiplied by capsules per pack gives total milligrams, and price divided by that figure gives cost per milligram. When comparing BPC-150 with BPC-157 listings, remember that they are different products and that the per-capsule figures are stated on very different scales, so a like-for-like cost comparison is not meaningful. What can be compared is documentation: whether an independent batch certificate exists for the exact batch on sale.
Batch testing and certificates of analysis
A certificate of analysis (COA) records what a laboratory found in one manufactured batch: the identity and purity of the compound (usually by HPLC and LC-MS), the batch number, the test date and the laboratory that ran the assay. Janoshik Analytical, which is independent of us, tests every Free Muscle-brand batch, BPC-150 among them, and we will send the certificate for the batch you hold if you email us the batch number from the label.
For BPC-150 the identity line matters more than usual. Because BPC-150 is a product name with no published structure, the mass found, together with the sequence where the report gives one, is the independent check on which peptide the capsules contain. The BPC-150 product page explains how to read that certificate line by line.
A document without a batch number, a test date or a named laboratory does not certify any batch. Check that its batch number matches the one printed on your bottle; our lab tests page shows what else to look for.
Where to buy BPC-150 in the UK: how to check a supplier
Whichever shop you buy BPC-150 from, check these five points before you order:
- A batch number and a certificate for that batch. The pack should carry a batch number, and the seller should be able to show a certificate of analysis for that same batch from a named laboratory, with the test date. Every Free Muscle-brand batch is assayed by Janoshik Analytical, and we send the certificate for your batch on request.
- The strength per capsule and the capsule count. With both figures you can work out the total milligrams in the pack and the price per milligram. If a listing does not state one of them, ask the seller before you order.
- Research-use labelling and an age check. A research compound should be sold for laboratory research use only, not for human consumption, to adults aged 18 or over, with no dosing or usage advice. That is how every listing here is sold.
- Prices in pounds sterling and tracked UK dispatch. UK delivery from us is free and tracked on every order, with no minimum spend, and usually arrives 2-3 working days after dispatch; orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday are processed the same working day.
- A clear returns policy. Unopened items can be returned to us within 30 days.

Legal status in the UK
BPC-150 is not a licensed medicine and has no MHRA marketing authorisation. It is not an authorised food supplement and may not be sold for human consumption. It is supplied for laboratory research to adults aged 18 and over. It is not a controlled drug. Under the 2026 WADA Prohibited List, which took effect on 1 January 2026, substances with no current approval by any governmental regulatory health authority for human therapeutic use fall under class S0, which names BPC-157 among its examples. The class is prohibited at all times (its substances are Specified Substances, which bears on sanctions, not on whether use is allowed), so tested athletes should treat BPC-150 as prohibited. See our SARMs versus peptides guide for background on how research compounds are classified.
Storage and handling
Keep the container sealed, in a cool, dry place away from direct light, and return it there each time the container has been opened. Do not decant into unlabelled containers. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. Handle in line with ordinary laboratory good practice, with gloves and a clean work surface, and dispose of unwanted material through an appropriate waste route rather than down the sink.

Frequently asked questions
Is BPC-150 the same as BPC-157?
No. BPC-157 is the fifteen-amino-acid gastric pentadecapeptide studied in the published literature. BPC-150 is Free Muscle's own designation for a product sold as a variant of it, not the literature peptide itself. There is no published research on anything called BPC-150, and results from BPC-157 studies should not be read as applying to it.
Is BPC-150 legal in the UK?
BPC-150 is not covered by the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, but that does not make selling it for human use lawful. There is no MHRA marketing authorisation for it and it is not an authorised food supplement, and regulation 46 of the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 prohibits selling or supplying a medicinal product that lacks authorisation. Free Muscle supplies it strictly as a research material to adults aged 18 and over. As a non-approved substance it falls under WADA class S0 and is prohibited in sport.
Is BPC-150 a peptide or a SARM?
BPC-150 is sold as a peptide product, not a SARM. The distinction is chemical: a SARM is a small synthetic molecule built to bind the androgen receptor, whereas a peptide is a chain of amino acids with no androgen receptor activity. They appear together in this shop because they attract the same buyers, not because they are related.
Has BPC-150 been tested in humans?
No. There are no human studies, animal studies or cell studies on a compound called BPC-150. Even the related literature peptide, BPC-157, has no completed controlled human trial. We state this plainly so that no one buys BPC-150 believing it carries an evidence base it does not have.
What side effects have been reported for BPC-150?
Its adverse effect profile is unknown, because no study of any kind has been published on BPC-150. The related literature peptide, BPC-157, is only slightly better documented: animal toxicity work in four species reported no serious toxicity, but a 2025 systematic review located no safety data from clinical use in people, and the US FDA has flagged possible immune reactions, impurities and gaps in safety information as concerns. None of that can be transferred to BPC-150, and we make no claim about its effects.
Why is BPC-150 sold as capsules when most BPC-157 studies used injection?
Because a capsule is a fixed, pre-weighed quantity from one assayed batch that can be stored dry and checked against its certificate. That is a handling reason, not an evidence claim. Nothing has been published on BPC-150 by any route, the BPC-157 literature relies mainly on injection in rodents with a smaller number of drinking-water studies, and no human data exist for the peptide taken by mouth. We do not claim that the capsules reproduce any injected study result.
How is BPC-150 batch-tested?
Every Free Muscle-brand batch, including BPC-150, is assayed by Janoshik Analytical, an independent laboratory. The certificate of analysis for your batch is available by email on request. Quote the batch number printed on the label and we will send the matching certificate.
Which BPC-150 strength should I choose?
That is not something we advise on. BPC-150 is supplied for laboratory research, and neither this page nor our staff will suggest what a researcher should buy or how it should be applied. The only BPC-150 listing is the Free Muscle 60-capsule pack with the labelled strength stated on its product page, so there is no choice of strength to make here in any case.
Where can I buy BPC-150 in the UK?
On this page you can compare every BPC-150 listing we stock (at present from Free Muscle). Every UK order ships free with tracking, with no minimum spend, and usually arrives 2-3 working days after dispatch. Everything here is supplied for laboratory research use only, not for human consumption, to adults aged 18 or over.
How fast is UK delivery?
UK delivery is free and tracked on every order, with no minimum spend, and usually arrives 2-3 working days after dispatch. Faster tracked UK delivery costs £6 and usually takes 1-2 working days. Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday are processed the same working day.
Do you deliver to Romania and the rest of the EU?
Yes. Orders to Romania and other EU countries travel by our paid, tracked international service and usually arrive 3-7 working days after dispatch; delivery to the rest of the world usually takes 5-14 working days. Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Rules differ in other countries, so check local law before ordering for delivery abroad.
Can I return an order?
Yes: unopened items can be returned within 30 days. Our guarantee page has the full policy.
Is there a discount when I buy more than one?
Yes, on Free Muscle-brand products: 5% off automatically when your cart holds 2 of them and 10% off with 3 or more, applied in the cart. The offers do not combine.
